hi i have a young chap who has been coming to dressing clinic for a few weeks. he had an in grown toe nail removed from his big toe. this became infected. this is now solved but he has over granulation to the area and anything we have tried does not seem to work. basically it has stayed the same not getting any worse nor better. we had been treating it with hydrocortisone cream and an n/a with slight pressure. any suggestions ???///

You will have to keep it elevated the night that you have it done. My son just had one done. They don't remove the whole nail, just the side of it. It's a bit painful, but manageable. He couldn't take gym class for a week because it was sore. Good luck.
